Sky Watch no 16 Early morning

Early morning in 100 km/h somewhere around Port Wakefield. A little refining in Photoshop and a 3-dimensional  effect appeared.

It makes me think of Halloween, but it's the wrong season.

Very interesting result from the processing. Was the sky really that red? I, too, thought of Halloween when I viewed it.

Yes, the colours are real, the red was even more intense on my RAW-file. I brightened and sharpened just a little bit to observe more details. It was then I saw the transparent branches and trunks. Other then that my camera was set to violate everything in the "book". Under the conditions this series of pictures was taken they should have been of no value at all, but I feel I got my reward.
