When Winnie visits, we want to drive around and enjoy this beautiful country. This time we decided to take “The scenic road to Mirepoix” and eat lunch before making other plans for the day. This day was very clear and we could see the Pyrenées without too much mist. From La Pène we went to Escueillens and followed the signs to St Gauderic and Honoux. We could have used 25 min. but why rush when there are so many pictures to be taken.

The rest of the tour was much longer that day , but that’s another story.
This was my little contribution from my world to you this week, don’t miss out on the rest of the world

Such a very beautiful journey. Thanks.
Fabulous pics of your world. So makes me yearn to visit France again. We used to visit 3 or 4 times a year when we lived in London. Sigh.
Thanks for sharing.
Reminders of my youth, family holidays apent in la belle France and my first car, a Citroen just like that one!
Nice snaps. Country side is always beautiful as it is still not tampered by modernity.
Wow, what a wonderful trip with so many photo opportunities and a snack, photographing can be so exausting!
So where's the Burger King? Just kidding! France is so beautiful and unspoiled - great photos.
