La Pène 8. april 2009

Not so much cotton today.

The blue greens are true and that I find quite facinating. This particular palette of greens are in Viridian, Sap and Olive green according to the Winsor & Newton colours.

Morning view from La Pène 7. April 2009

I was going to show you the flowering Colsa-field on the hilltop towards Alaigne, next time…..

The sound from the twittering of the birds sounds like it’s coming from inside the cotton around us.

My World no 5

Let’s look over the hilltop towards the sunrise

When reaching the top of the hill we look over the vinyards and we can see over to Alaigne. One of the circular towns in du Razès. Farther away we can find Limoux, Perpignan and Collioure at the seashore of the Mediterrainian.

I just love these “screaming” trees. There are patches with vines everywhere.

The Sky over La Pène 5. April 2009

It’s time to get up. The birds are very busy getting nest materials. In my window sill I find dry Lavender stalks, hay, grass, and feathers.

Can I call this a “marble sky”?

Sky Watch no 5

Maison Tranquille 20090109_Vue-Matin_002
So far this year I’ve picked out the 9th. of January as one of the most spectacular morning skies over La Pène.

The gray light in La Pène 2. april 2009

Maison Tranquille 20090402_Vue-Matin_201
The sky maybe gray, but already there is a number of different greens. It’s wheat in different stages, it’s grass it’s maybe rape (I prefer to use the french name) Colsa. Leaves are coming out, leaves are still leaving, and yes, the gray light is a perfect background for mother earth.
