Morning in La Pène 6. march 2009

This morning is again one of the gloomy ones. Further south in the Perpignan area, there is very windy. The weatherforecast said up to 140 km/h. It blows here too, but not like that. Perhaps around 80. It’s just a guess. Anyway some of you thought my Skywatch Friday photo was of the sunset. It’s my fault, I should have put some text with the picture. It goes with my nature I take pictures of the sun rise. This view is my start on a new day, a new life so to speak. I wake up to this view and I feel a good welcoming into another day. That’s the moment, yesterday is forgotten, tomorrow I don’t know, but today, now, I’m here.

Looking out the window a couple of hours ago, it looked like this and it was freezing cold and windy. 

The camera was just about to leave my hands.

Yesterday I made a photo of the little chapel in St. Just de Belengard in the background thru the Almond tree,

Etter den dramatiske soloppgangen kommer turen til mandelblomstene som begynte å folde seg ut for 2 dager siden.
After the dramatic sunrise, the scene chnges to the almond flowers who started to flower 2 days ago.

Ingen bier ennå,bare en liten flue. No bees, just a little fly.

The sun rises into the clouds. Very often that happens, but after a little while the clouds from Montagne Noir and the clouds from the Pyrenées have sorted out their differences. It’s strange to watch the two cloud systems meet at sunrise.

It is much better today,

Jordstykket på den andre siden av vannet ble harvet og besådd med hvete i går. Tenker bonden var glad at det endelig var mulig å komme ut på åkeren!

Blue sky!!!!!!

Kom hit alle bier, vepser og humler. Mandelblomstene springer ut i gråværet.

Colsa field and more ….

I have promised you pictures of Colsa (Rape; Raps) fields and I have found this from April 2008 ……

The direction we are looking is towards Carcassonne.

Skywatch, La Peine, 1. mars 2009

Vi gleder oss over å kunne sitte inne ved laptoppen. Sippe litt kaffe med kaffefløte i og bare nyte søndagen. Godværet og hagen kan vente til senere i uken.

Dette bildet har jeg virkelig slitt med. Jeg brukte ikke stativ så jeg tror utgangspunktet ikke var så godt, men det passer til været og dette er slik det ble. – Rainy and foggy and I struggled a lot with this picture. If I don’t adjust the midtone contrast I can’t see the hills in the back.

It’s not dust on my lens, it’s a bird. At firdst I thought it was fun to have birds on my pictures, but now I tthink it is also ok to have “birdfree” photos.

I hope the almond flower buds will not be blowing in the wind. The weather is changing and the wind is picking up.
